I am Avlive (Majik – Save me)

‘I am Avlive’ is an experiment to bring photos to life. This time I worked with a self portrait I took of me looking out over Dublin at night. I’ve separated the picture into multiple layers and brought it alive with multiple effects. The video now resonates with the song behind it. The song used is by one of my favorites artists named MAJIK. All rights of the music go to them and a big thanks to them for letting me use their music.

For me the picture represents seperation. At times we can feel very distanced from everything, ourself, friends, family. I think it’s okay to feel like this from time to time. Sometimes we need some distance. But don’t forget you can always return.
